There are so many great options that we already have in our kitchen that are so good for us. I take a shot of ACV several times a week and swear it has been a game changer for my GI health. Thanks for these healthy alternative tips

    3. Alaia

Hey…I loved your post. I just want to ask you that as a person suffering from hypothyroid and PCOS..how much Maca root powder did you have in a day? There are many studies which say that we need to have it in controlled amounts. And many others point out that it’s good for endocrine function.

      Waiting for your reply

    4. Purnima Silva

Can I use all these and mix to make a drink so that i can drink in the morning?? I started taking medicine but right I want to deviate from medicine because Iam just 23 years old

    5. Mixing all together and making a cocktail will not help you to get cure. Each needs to be taken suiting your eating habits. Mixing two things together will nullify the benefits so instead of curing it may give you more problems.

  9. Mojgan Hosseini

    Hello,
First I would like to thank you for sharing these useful information, second I would like to ask you if these natural remedies are going to treat hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism
about 13 years ago which my Doc prescribed me Synthroid. It caused me many side effects until last year I stopped taking them and a month later I went for naturopathy which I felt way better but still not completely well. now my doc prescribed natural thyroid which is taken from Pig. I read about it and it can cause some serious side effects like hair loss.
I would like to ask you if it is a good idea to go for thyroid pills again?
I appreciate your input very much

    1. Something from Pig, how can that be natural and useful to you when it will give you hair loss and other hidden side effects. Natural to me means something plant-based or earth/rock mineral-based. I would suggest going back to your Synthroid/Levothyroxine. Reversing back Thyroid conditions involves a lifestyle change like eating healthy, enough sleep, regular exercise, regular medication(natural/allopathy/supplement), doing the things that make you happy. I am not promoting supplements but Selenium and zinc help in a thyroid condition. Lifestyle change is not easy but believe me doable. And also after reversing back to a healthy body, one needs to maintain to stay on track otherwise hormones can go crazy again. Hope this helps.
