Every Farm has unique things for visitors coming to the fields for tour. You never know what you get to pick on your own. May be Lavender, Dahlia, Loganberries, Boysenberries, Raspberries , Strawberries or Sunflower.
Every year, we visit Graysmarsh Farm for Lavender tour during Sequim Lavender Festival and each time we find some thing unique in the farm. This time we were surprise to find sunflower field in the same farm. The field was looking so colorful with bloomed yellow and white sunflowers. Yes you heard right White sunflower. It was my first time that I was seeing white sunflower in my life. Some sunflowers were very big and wide.

We spend good time strolling in Sunflower fields capturing pics and admiring the wonderful creation of nature and appreciating the hard work and efforts of the farmers. The distant view of Lavender fields were looking like purple haze carpet on earth’s floor. After some time we walked to Lavender fields in the same farm.
Smell of fresh Lavender filled the atmosphere with freshness and serenity. It was a beautiful sunny day in Sequim proving to be photographer’s paradise in colorful fields of Sunflower and Lavenders. Then to our surprise we found different berries very riped and ready for pick your own in next field. We went to the the next fields of berries in the same Farm. Picking various types of Boysenberries, Raspberries, Loganberries and Blue berries was more fun. I always get organic Lavender oil from Farm’s Gift booths shops.

I’m partial to lilacs, and happened to go in the springtime while visiting in OR, and we crossed the river and found a wonderful Lilac Festival with over a hundred varieties that had been made by a pioneer. Her home had been made into a museum and the place was fantastic. This post brings back memories of that trip. I love lavender just as much and would love to check this out as well, partly because of the berries! Thanks for a superb post.
